Concept and Design Overview
The boho rattan hanging shelf concept introduces relaxed organic shapes, woven textures, and cascading greenery to bright bathroom spaces. This design features a multi-tiered rattan or bamboo hanging shelf suspended from heavy-duty ceiling hooks or wall pegs using natural rope. Styled within the open wicker frame are small potted trailing plants—such as golden pothos or heartleaf philodendron—alongside terracotta pots, rolled towels, and scented soy candles. As the trailing plants grow, green vines cascade down across lower shelf tiers, creating a living green wall detail. The color palette features tan rattan wood, terra cotta rust, vibrant emerald green, and soft cream. This lively, plant-filled design is suited for sunlit guest baths, bohemian spaces, or apartment rentals.

Step-by-Step Creation Method
Anchor two heavy-duty ceiling hooks or wall pegs into solid wood studs or masonry above your desired wall space. Hang a two- or three-tier woven rattan shelf unit using natural jute rope, ensuring all shelf tiers hang level. Place a healthy potted golden pothos in a terracotta pot on the top shelf tier, guiding its trailing vines down along the side ropes. On the middle tier, stack two small rolled terracotta-colored cotton hand towels alongside a small glass jar of bath salts. Place a natural soy candle in a ceramic container on the bottom tier, adding a small match bottle nearby. Ensure the hanging shelf sits far enough from high-traffic walking paths so it isn’t bumped, and water plants carefully over a sink to prevent drips.
