Transforms inexpensive clear plastic or glass bowls into high-end vintage-style mercury glass decor.
- Take a round plastic or glass Dollar Tree bowl and spray the inside lightly with water from a misting bottle.
- Immediately spray a coat of mirror finish or metallic silver spray paint over the water droplets on the inside surface.
- Allow it to partially dry, then lightly blot with a paper towel to create distressed mercury glass spots.
- Fill the inside of the mercury glass bowl with battery-operated warm-white fairy lights and silver ornament balls to catch the metallic reflections.
