How to Build
- Take one large exterior cardboard box and a smaller interior cardboard box.
- Line the bottom and sides of the large box with 1-inch foam board or crumpled newspaper insulation.
- Place the smaller box inside and line its interior with a mylar emergency blanket.
- Cut aligned 6-inch entrance holes through both boxes, offset slightly to prevent direct wind drafts.
