Buy a spool of 4mm cotton macramé cord and a smooth natural wooden dowel or piece of craft driftwood. Cut 10 to 12 equal strands of cord and mount them onto the wooden stick using lark’s head knots. Work downward using basic square knots and diagonal clove hitch knots to form a chevron or diamond pattern. Trim the bottom cord ends at a V-shape angle and comb out the fringes for a soft finish.
