8. Upcycled Sweater Pillow Covers
Instead of throwing away old sweaters, turn them into cozy pillow covers. This project works best with thick knitted sweaters or soft wool blends.
Cut out two equal sized square pieces from the sweater fabric. Sew three sides together and insert a pillow form. Then stitch the final side or attach buttons for a removable cover. You can also incorporate the sweater’s original design elements such as pockets or ribbed hems.
