- Select a smooth wall surface (such as Polished Deepslate or White Concrete).
- Place 2–3 Spruce or Dark Oak trapdoors horizontally against the wall at chest height.
- Flip the trapdoors flat to create thin, floating ledges.
- Attach Iron Chains or End Rods from the ceiling directly down to the outer corners of the trapdoors to make them look suspended.
- Place a lantern, a flower pot, or a clock on top of the shelf to complete the look.
