7. Window Christmas Decorations

Decorating windows is a wonderful way to make your home look festive from both inside and outside. Window decorations are especially effective in the evening when interior lights illuminate them from behind.

Lighted window silhouettes, such as stars, snowflakes, or Christmas trees, are easy to install and very eye catching. Hanging wreaths in windows using ribbon or clear hooks creates a classic and elegant look.

You can also frame windows with string lights or garlands for added dimension. If you have multiple windows on the front of your home, keeping the decorations consistent across all of them creates a polished and cohesive appearance.
