Concept Overview & Aesthetic Appeal
A soft, ultra-gentle nursery theme combining sculpted baby lambs, tiny fondant pillows, and a sleeping moon cradle.
Cake Architecture & Decorative Formula
-
Bottom Tier (8-inch): Pale pastel fondant with quilted diamond patterns, accented with edible white sugar pearls at each intersection.
-
Top Tier (6-inch): Smooth white buttercream with small hand-molded fondant clouds.
-
Topper: A sculpted sleeping baby lamb wrapped in a blanket, resting inside an open crescent moon bowl.
-
Cake Board: Covered in matching fondant with embossed celestial lettering.
Pro Baker Tip
Use a diamond quilting impression mat on chilled fondant to achieve perfectly uniform lattice lines across the base tier.
