7. Coasters

Fabric coasters are small, fast to make, and perfect for beginners who want to practice precision sewing.

What you will need:
Fabric scraps, batting (optional), and thread.

Steps:

  1. Cut two squares of fabric and one of batting.
  2. Layer them with the batting in the middle and sew around the edges, leaving a small gap.
  3. Turn it right side out and sew around the border to finish.
