Build a set of 3×3-inch cubic storage boxes with solid side panels reinforced with X-braced timber framing. Cut miniature L-shaped corner brackets from thin black cardstock or soda can aluminum, paint them with rust-effect textured paint, and adhere them with tiny brass micro-brads at each corner.
