Step-by-Step Execution & Installation Guide

  • Locate the ceiling joists above your laundry folding counter or open walkway area.

  • Screw two heavy-duty cast-iron ceiling pulleys directly into the center of the ceiling joists using structural lag bolts.

  • Thread a heavy-duty nylon or marine-grade cotton rope through the pulleys and attach it to a multi-slat pine or ash wooden rack.

  • Mount a wall cleat hook firmly into a nearby wall stud at eye level to tie off and secure the rope at variable heights.

  • Lower the airer to chest height to load wet garments, then pull the rope to hoist the loaded rack up to the ceiling and tie it off securely.
