How to Create
A spooky Halloween jack-o’-lantern and flying bats plate celebrates autumn holiday festivities with high-contrast glowing orange tissue paper and eerie black silhouette cutouts. This design transforms the paper plate frame into a round pumpkin using bright orange paint and a green paper stem. The translucent center window is packed with overlapping shades of canary yellow, pumpkin orange, and deep amber tissue paper, forming a radiant glowing background for a grinning jack-o’-lantern face or silhouettes of bats flying across a harvest moon.
To create this Halloween suncatcher, cut the center circle from a paper plate and paint the rim pumpkin orange, adding a small green cardstock stem and curled vine tendril at the top. Apply clear contact paper across the rear opening. Layer various shades of yellow, orange, and amber tissue paper scraps across the sticky surface to create a multi-tonal glowing pumpkin flesh background.
