A cozy, tactile heart ornament made by wrapping colorful yarn around a cardboard heart base.
Cut a large heart shape out of sturdy corrugated cardboard. Cut a long piece of pink, red, or multi-colored yarn. Tape one end of the yarn to the back of the cardboard heart and let the child wrap the yarn around and across the heart in all directions until the cardboard is completely covered in a thick, textured layer of yarn. Tuck the final end securely under the wraps and add a loop for hanging.
