Mix 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of salt, and 1 cup of water to form a smooth salt dough. Roll the dough flat (about 1/2-inch thick) and press the child’s hand or foot firmly into the center. Cut a circle around the print using a bowl as a template, curve the edges upward slightly inside an oven-safe bowl to form a dish shape, and bake at 250°F (120°C) for 2 to 3 hours until hard. Once cooled, let the kid paint the dish and handprint, sealing it with clear Mod Podge.
