Step-by-Step DIY Execution Guide

  • Measure and mix 150ml of 1:1 casting epoxy resin thoroughly for 3 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of the cup.

  • Divide resin into three cups: 70% colored with opaque white resin paste, 20% colored with a drop of black/charcoal liquid pigment, and 10% mixed with silver mica powder.

  • Pour the white resin evenly across four 4-inch hexagonal silicone molds until 80% full.

  • Drizzle fine lines of charcoal and silver resin across the wet white base using the tip of a wooden stir stick.

  • Lightly drag a toothpick through the gray lines in gentle, branching S-curves to feather the veins naturally into the white base.

  • Pass a butane torch 4 inches above the surface in rapid sweeps to pop all micro-bubbles.

  • Let cure undisturbed under a dust cover for 24 hours before demolding.
