Step-by-Step Execution Guide

  • Base-coat a primed ceramic planter in two solid coats of warm alabaster white paint.

  • Select four complementary acrylic colors: terracotta rust, golden mustard, soft sage, and charcoal black.

  • Using a small flat craft brush, paint small, random angular geometric polygons (triangles, trapezoids, and irregular shards) scattered across the pot.

  • Rotate the orientation of the shapes so the pattern looks organic and evenly distributed.

  • Add tiny speckles between the larger shapes with a fine-point paintbrush.
