Once completely dry, wrap low-tack painter’s tape diagonally across the body of the pot, pressing the tape edge firmly with your thumbnail.

Remove the tape while the second coat is still slightly tacky to reveal a razor-sharp, bleed-free line.

Paint the top rolled lip rim of the pot with metallic oil-based liquid gold leaf using a flat-edge detail brush.

Paint a quick, thin coat of your base cream paint over the painter’s tape edge before applying the sage green; any bleed will match the base, leaving the green line razor-sharp.
