To create this ice dragon, insert a folded cardstock oval mouth plate into the toe of a light-blue chenille sock, lining the interior with dark navy craft felt. Cut five long, jagged icicle shapes from silver glitter foam, gluing them into the roof and floor of the mouth to serve as frost fangs and an icy tongue. To build the shaggy mane, wrap thick white yarn around your four fingers twenty times, slide the bundle off, and tie the center tightly with a separate yarn strand; repeat this to create six yarn pom-pom tufts. Glue or stitch the yarn tufts in a continuous vertical line starting between the eyes and running down the sock heel to the cuff. Cut two four-inch curving horn shapes from holographic cardstock, score a half-inch mounting tab at the bottom of each, and glue the tabs firmly into the knit fabric at the top of the head. Attach two large icy-blue crystal buttons for the eyes.
