Begin fabrication by fitting a folded cardboard mouth plate into the toe of a pastel fuzzy sock, lining the mouth cavity with soft baby-pink craft felt. Cut a four-inch strip of pastel rainbow grosgrain ribbon with a swallowtail notch at the end, gluing the base of the ribbon tongue into the center of the lower jaw. Cut two three-inch strips of white felt and two strips of pink felt, twisting them together into spiral candy canes and gluing the ends to form soft, blunt horns; anchor these candy horns firmly atop the dragon’s head. Glue eight large pastel craft pom-poms (in lavender, mint, and yellow) along the dorsal spine from the top of the head down to the sock cuff. Cut two large, friendly round cartoon eyes from white and lavender felt, gluing them forward on the head, and add two tiny pink felt nostril circles to complete the gentle expression.
