Begin by selecting two or three fully pressed pansies with contrasting color patterns—such as a deep royal purple pansy paired with a soft lavender-and-yellow viola. Unlatch the vintage octagonal brass frame and wipe both interior glass surfaces clean with a microfiber cloth. Using tweezers, place the larger pansy slightly off-center in the lower half of the bottom glass, positioning the smaller viola and a tiny clover leaf overlapping gently beside it to create an organic, clustered bouquet. Ensure that no petal edges extend beyond the rubber sealing gasket of the frame. Close the hinged top glass pane slowly over the arrangement, securing the brass swing latch tightly to lock the glass panes together.
