Key Sewing Steps
- Cut 1.5-inch wide bias or straight-grain contrast strips; fold and press in half lengthwise (wrong sides together).
- Pin the folded strip along the front panel edges with raw edges aligned (folded edge facing inward).
- Layer overlapping back panels over the top and stitch around the edge, catching the folded lip.
