Step-by-Step DIY Execution Guide

  • Flatten 12 to 16 cardboard toilet paper rolls evenly using a bone folder.

  • Mark 0.5-inch increments along the flattened tubes and slice them into uniform oval rings using sharp scissors.

  • Pinch the ends of the rings to form pointed petal and leaf shapes.

  • Glue 6 petals together at their base points to create central flower blossoms using hot glue.

  • Create internal spiral scrolls by cutting open single rings and curling the ends tightly around a pencil.

  • Glue the floral medallions and spiral scrolls together in a radiating, symmetrical mandala design, securing joints with binder clips while drying.

  • Spray the entire finished piece with two coats of ultra-matte black spray paint.
