  • Apply a small dot of hot glue to the inner rim, anchor the end of a spool of fine jute twine, and wrap the twine tightly around the tube until the cardboard is fully covered.

  • Secure the twine tail on the inside with glue.

  • Thread three small natural wooden craft beads onto a 4-inch piece of twine.

  • Tie the beaded twine around the napkin ring, knotting a sprig of dried lavender or bunny tails beneath the beads.

  • Slide rolled linen napkins through the rings for a rustic tablescape.
