A 360-degree rotating vanity organizer made from clustered cardboard shipping tubes of staggered heights, mounted atop a mini lazy Susan turntable and finished in a speckled terrazzo paint wash.

Step-by-Step DIY Execution Guide

  • Collect 5 to 7 heavy-duty cardboard shipping cores of varying diameters (1.5″ to 3″ wide).

  • Cut the tubes at staggered heights (3″, 4″, 5″, and 6″) using a fine-tooth miter saw or utility knife.

  • Cut a 7-inch circular base from double-wall cardboard.

  • Glue the tubes together in a tight, clustered circle atop the base plate using industrial hot glue.

  • Apply two coats of textured stone spray paint or hand-paint colorful terrazzo chips over a matte off-white acrylic base.

  • Fasten a low-profile 4-inch ball-bearing swivel turntable to the bottom plate using double-sided mounting foam.
