1. Take a vintage ceramic teapot and glue its lid closed with waterproof adhesive.
  2. Attach a heavy-duty eyebolt or metal wire loop to the top handle of the teapot for hanging.
  3. Glue a teacup and saucer set directly beneath the teapot spout using a short length of sturdy copper wire or a concealed metal bracket.
  4. Position the teapot at a tilted angle so seed can be poured through the top main opening and slowly trickle out through the spout into the teacup reservoir below.
  5. Hang the cascade feeder in a protected patio area or covered garden arbor.
